All-State and All-District Band On this page you will find videos performances of the Honors Band requirements for the North Carolina All-State Honors Band auditions, including All-District Band auditions. These are divided by level (Middle School, High School 9/10, and High School 11/12), and by instrument (alto, tenor and baritone saxophones). This repertoire is outlined on the NC Bandmasters website (ncbandmasters.org), and from the Central District's website (cdba.ncbandmasters.org). However, be sure to check with your band director regarding your particular requirement. For the scale requirements, I have played through the entire sheet to give you a representation of all the scales. While you should have all the scales mastered, during the audition, more than likely the judges will pick and choose various scales for you to perform. According to the NC Bandmasters website, Middle School scales are tongued, and the chromatic is slurred. High School scales can be tongued or slurred, and chromatic slurred.
