This bass saxophone comes from the collection of Taimur Sullivan, Professor of Saxophone at Northwestern University and baritone saxophonist of the PRISM Quartet.
The horn is in absolutely excellent condition. It has been performed on only a handful of times, and always stored in the case in a climate-controlled location. There was one resoldering point of the neck receiver brace, which is noted in a photo. There is a very slight amount of acid bleed (not unusual for Selmer instruments) and a few small dings - these are purely cosmetic, and I have tried to note all in the photos. Overall, the instrument is in an almost ‘like-new’ condition, and plays like a dream throughout the entire range. (Please note, the stand in the photo is not included).
The instrument is located near Chicago, Illinois. For inquiries including pricing, please contact taimursullivan@gmail.com.
